Goat milk is renowned for the luxurious qualities it gives soap. This recipe uses milk from my goats Sophia and Snowpea, as well as olive and coconut oils, almond, castor, and avocado oils and shea butter, and the perennially-favorite Lavender and Vanilla fragrance. These bars are 2 oz and come in a hand-cut and folded brown paper origami box. The vanilla in this soap makes it a unique deep purple-brown.

Goat milk is renowned for the luxurious qualities it gives soap. This recipe uses milk from my goats Sophia and Snowpea, as well as olive and coconut oils, almond, castor, and avocado oils and shea butter. It is an Oatmeal, Milk & Honey fragrance, and I also add some ground oatmeal and a bit of our own raw honey for extra moisturizing. These bars are 2 oz and come in a hand-cut and folded brown paper origami box.

A completely unscented, fragrance-free bar of luxurious goat milk and Shea butter soap, handmade here at Solace Farm Homestead from scratch - I even milk the goats by hand. This soap is ideal for sensitive or allergy-prone skin - chemical fragrances are the #1 allergen in skin care, and I have to say, I was flabbergasted to learn recently that "unscented" commercial soap often uses fragrance to make it smell unscented. This is outrageous, and I surmise it's why you also find the term "fragrance-free" - because "unscented" may not actually be.  This soap is available in either a rectangular molded bar with the word "GOAT MILK" across the front (this listing), or a plain square bar (separate listing), both approximately 4 oz.  The molded bar is packaged in a windowed brown kraft paper box. With its beautiful design, these soaps would make a great gift for any occasion, and are a wonderfully moisturizing option for daily use.

A great gardening or mechanics-type soap, with lots of exfoliation from the added coffee grounds. This bar has a decadent, invigorating Espresso fragrance. Full ingredients are: local lard, our own sheep tallow and goat milk, shea butter, and olive, castor & coconut oils. I use lard that I render myself from either Pig Mountain's or Cove Creek's pastured, non-GMO-fed pigs. While lard soap often has a reputation for being harsh or rough on skin, that is largely because many years ago, lye was not consistently refined, and people didn't use precision measurements. Today, with 100% pure lye and my digital scale, lard makes a beautiful white soap, very hard and long-lasting, with good cleaning power, while being very gentle and great for skin. I have gotten great reviews, both in person and through my Etsy shop, about how wonderful this soap is on skin - gentle, moisturizing, cleansing, and no residue! "Forget buying' Lush' soaps and shampoo bars. These products are better! I always wanted to try lard soap. I loved the shop's story and who wouldn't love the price? I put my money on THIS lard soap and found out that it is THE BEST soap I have ever tried! It has left my skin soft and silky. I bought unscented and it smells so ...clean! Really! The lather is wonderful. Who knew?" "Ok listen. I have been on a mad search for the best tallow soap for like, months. I wanted tallow because I find veg oil soaps to leave that sticky film I can’t stand. I found one other lard soap that doesn’t leave a film, but I was still missing something. Then I found this.
