Also known as Alum Root, Heuchera is a beautiful genus of perennial foliage plants that will add a punch of color to any spot in your garden. This one is smaller & blacker than the other variety we offer. Coral Bells begin blooming in midspring and continue through the summer months. We suggest dead-heading to prolong the bloom season. Will grow in any well-drained alkaline soil. They generally prefer part shade, especially in our heat. They are drought tolerant, very cold hardy (Zone 4), and many of them will even stay evergreen through the winter.

This lovely perennial will delight you with bright yellow blooms all spring and well into summer. Continue to deadhead the plants to extend the flowering season. Dwarf Coreopsis is an excellent choice for rock gardens, edging or borders. Plant in full sun to part shade.

The one I'm selling needs an updated picture, as it is pinker than this picture shows. A rapidly spreading perennial, Creeping Phlox grows to no more than 6 inches in height. The foliage is soft, needle-like, and remains lush spring through fall. The flowers emerge in April and May. This plant looks great growing over rocks. If massed together as a ground cover, creeping phlox plants make a powerful landscaping statement. After the blooming period, prune back the foliage of creeping phlox plants to encourage foliage to become denser & more attractive as a summer ground cover. Hardy in zones 2-8, Creeping Phlox likes full sun.

Episcias (flame violets), Gesneriads which are related to African violets, are natives of Central & South America. They are grown in temperate regions as houseplants, primarily for their attractive foliage. But with good east or artificial lighting, they will also bloom at regular intervals throughout the year. These plants like it warmer and more humid than do most houseplants. Flame violets are fast growers which send out stolons, or long stems with baby plants on the ends.
