Made from elderberries grown here at Solace Farm, this alcohol tincture was steeped for at least 2 months. These berries were hand-picked, and in the tincture within 3 hours of harvest! Elderberry is known for it's immune-boosting abilities, it is taken both preventatively at a daily low dose (1 dropperful) and curatively, at 4-5 droppers daily. I also use this for Trigeminal Neuralgia, elderberry tincture keeps my TN completely at bay - my only alternative is 3x daily prescription anti-convulsants, or potentially debilitating pain. If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia, I strongly recommend seeing if elderberry can make a difference.

Four thieves in a caplet. The stories behind Four Thieves Vinegar, said to date to the 17th century when plague struck Toulouse in France, intrigued me. The legend tells of four thieves who robbed the homes and corpses of those who had died of plague, but who allegedly survived the disease thanks to a herbal vinegar blend. The exact contents of the original recipe are unknown, but a version by herbalist Jean Valnet in the early 20th century is said to resemble the original more closely than any other.
