The plant has been trimmed and brought in for the winter. So very good in tea, and (oddly) somehow more lemony than a lemon after brewing. With a very bright and not at all bitter flavor, this herb is often used in Thai curry dishes and other Asian cuisine. Just throw it straight into the sauteé, to brighten up your stir fry. Lemon grass can be frozen well, as it retains it's flavor and pep. It does ok dried, but looses some of the pep. So grab enough to save some for winter. This plant doesn't winter well, so I trim it way down, and move it from garden to a pot for indoor shelter. I've seen these at Whole Foods for 2$ / stem. (Silly them) Never ever sprayed except with water. Fertilized with compost and other organics. As always. Cuttings taken just prior to market. NOTE : this plant has now been brought inside for the winter, but will still be treated with the same tlc though it will produce much less indoors. This is a pre-washed mix of a number of red and green leaf lettuces with whatever else is tasty and in season in the garden. This is coming from the hoop house and is really just a trimming so that the lettuce will come on evenly in the next few weeks. The mix will include lettuces, arugula, lots of tat soi, and purple mizuna mustard. Unfortunately there is a very limited supply. In the next few weeks growth should pick back up.

These are large Beauregard sweet potatoes. Excellent for baking, and large dishes. SWEET POTATOES ARE ALSO EXCELLENT IN SOUPS. SWEET POTATO FRIES ARE VERY GOOD.
