I have both skirted and unskirted fiber available - unlike sheep wool, alpaca doesn't need to be washed until the final product - it is so clean! These reusable shopping bags are made from woven plastic feed sacks. I choose sacks with nice pictures, and cut and sew them into a sturdy bag with handles. The bags vary slightly in size and shape, between 12 and 15" tall and 10-18" wide, generally either 4" deep for the smaller bags and 5-7" for larger ones. The straps can comfortably sling over a shoulder one-handed, and these bags are very sturdy!
