Hello all,

In celebration of TOGA’s tenth-year celebration, there will be 10 monthly events from March to October. The events will range from one-day workshops to farm tours, to celebrating all the Farmer’s Markets in Nashville.

March’s mushroom workshop was a great success! This month’s event will be a one-day workshop called Backyard Poultry INTENSIVE, which is geared toward small sustainable farmers and backyard enthusiasts. The workshop will be at the new Old School Farm in the Bells Bend community of Farms on April 26. Everybody may go hands-on with a chicken at this workshop. The Sustainable Poultry Network – an exciting new concept in breeding, growing, and selling heritage poultry – will be presenting this event.

You can register at: https://events.r20.constantcontact.com/register/eventReg?llr=djzrg9lab&oeidk=a07e945kbks0f7d6b2e. All funds will be going to TOGA and lunch – with chicken sandwiches made from local, organic heritage birds – is included and will be provided by Slocos.

The discounted early registration deadline is April 20. We’d love to see you there!

Please periodically check the TOGA website for all the upcoming events at: http://www.tnorganics.org/.
