We grow some of the finest lettuce in the world, PERIOD! Our lettuce is produced in hydroponics. When you buy hydroponic lettuce with the roots intact you get a longer shelf life product and the taste is superb! The product is never sprayed or treated with chemicals. We use an integrated pest management system consisting of Lady Bugs, Praying Mantis and Tree Frogs. Hydroponics is the growing of produce without the use of soil. We use filtered city water with our soluble fertilizer. Our fertilize is mixed in-house and formulated specifically for the crop.
We normally have in stock red loose leaf, green loose leaf, bibb, and romaine. Varieties will vary depending on the season. We have lettuce all year. For the commercial trade, we also grow basil in hydroponics.

Herbs are a very good seller and we have a very nice selection. We have both perennial and annual plants. Some of our perennial plants include: Rosemary, Oregano (Greek, Italian, and Golden), Sage (Berggarten, Garden, Purple, and Tricolor), Thyme (Lemon and Silver), and Winter Savory.

We have grown a beautiful collection of hardy ferns for our inventory this year. These ferns are from the Casa Flora collection and have been selected for our zone. We have a wide variety not normally seen around this area. All the ferns are in the trade gallon size ready to be added to your shade garden.
We are open to the public but are still working on setting our Greenhouse hours. If you would like to come by or have a tour, please call as we are happy to show you around the hydroponic operation. Of course, you can purchase plants and lettuce while you’re here. This year we are adding two new greenhouses. One will be for all the ferns, bedding plants, etc. (This G.H. is COMPLETE) The other one will be dedicated for the growing of small gourmet cucumbers (under const-ready around Christmas).
