Valley Home Farms is a small, six-generation family farm located in the beautiful countryide at the foot of Monteagle Mountain near Pelham. We are a diversified operation, raising corn, wheat, and soybeans, along with livestock, hay, and nursery stock. Direct marketing our homegrown food items has helped sustain our farm for three generations. We are best known for our sweet corn and roasting ear corn, which begin to be available at the end of June through September. We use old garden spots for our sweet corn. Although our farm cannot be officially designated as organic, we rely on organic fertilizers whenever possible and do not use chemical insecticides. We also raise swine and beefalo cattle, and have fresh meat products available for sale year round.
